Robert Rottet
(Nov. 1, 1966 - Nov. 4, 1999)
Remembering my dear friend, Rob, in November—the anniversary of his birth, the anniversary of his untimely passing, and Veteran’s Day. His song, “Into the Sun,” was a warning to me, and yet, Rob couldn’t avoid it himself. Brilliant musician, comrade, brother, friend. In the 2000s, I began a requiem project for Rob—a tribute for him, a memorial for his brilliance (see link below - an archival website). Love to Rob’s family, friends, fans. Love you, Rob!
